Possibly buying a 1995 El Dorado Touring Coupe
Hey everyone. I'm brand new to the Cadillac forum, but I was curious for all your input on this. Someone is selling a 1992 Cadillac El Dorado Touring Coupe, with 36,000 original miles. It's at a local dealership for $5,200. It only had one owner it's entire life (before being at the dealership), and I ran a Carfax on the vehicle, and the mileage IS accurate. It has gold exterior and leather interior. No scratches, blemishes, cracks, scrapes, rips on interior...entire car is flawless. It sounds like a really good deal i.m.o. I was curious what you all think?
Anyway, looking forward to your responses! Thanks in advance for your time!

It sounds like a real nice car, but I would try to get them down just a little on the asking price.
The KBB suggested dealer retail value in excellent condition is $4725 so they might be willing to
negotiate a little.

Hey again! Came to find out that car was already sold a couple days ago. I found another one, which in my opinion is better overall. It's a 1995 Cadillac El Dorado Touring Coupe with moonroof and chrome wheels. Has 107,000 miles but is in perfect shape. Dealership asking $5500 for it, which is a steal. I looked at the blue book value, and with a private party it's valued at $5700, retail value it's still up in the $7,000's. I find out tomorrow if my financial application is approved or declined. The car is gold in color, and has leather interior.
An update on 5-20-08. I was approved. It's a great car. Purchased the extra 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty (good idea on Cadillacs with over 100k). Here's some pictures:
