I know proper coolant system matainence is critical on these Cadillac's. My question is wether to use GREEN coolant or the ORANGE DexCool. I've always used the ORANGE (for the last 3 years). My uncle bought the car new is 1994 and I'm not sure what coolant was originally used. When I got the car it had the ORANGE. I've read all the controversial stories about the coolant on Northstar engines depending on the year and model. I'm lost. It's a '94 with 87K.

 

I just changed mine and I kept the orange and added the pellets. Don't forget to use distilled water. This is a true Irish forum with both the green and orange. Since mine came with orange, I stayed true.
