Default Seat motor not working

I just picked up a 2002 Deville DHS with only 30k miles. The rear motor on the driver seat does not work. I don't think its a fuse as all the other stuff works. Could be the switch or the motor. What the easiest way get to those components?

Also, since I just got this car, is there any maintenance items I should do right off the bat? OR things to check for? I have always heard these are bad about leaking head gaskets. What can I do to prevent that?

Thanks for reading my first post!

Ken
