High idle problem
Hey guys and girls:
I have a problem with my 94 deville. Recently i had problems starting the car. it would turn over, start and then die. It would only start and keep running if you pressed the gas for a couple of seconds while turning the ignition. Now the car starts fine but the idle is really high and does not go down. At a stop the car feels like it is still trying to go even with the brake fully pressed. I did a OBD and i get P030. After the car is turned off i hear the isc motor clicking but it nothing happens(it stays in the same position). From what i have read the screw should ratchet back in. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

You need to learn how to used On Board Diagnostics built into car, FSM would be very helpful. Replacing ISC may correct concern. Idle will need to be re-learned after ISC is replaced. If not high, unstable idle, or stalling are possible until computer learns it on its own. Everything you need is built into car, you just need to learn how to use it.

What is the next step??? How do you get the computer to relearn the idle after replacing the isc.My car is a 90 deville I replaced the ISC with no problems my car ran good for 1 day. Now my car is stalling wont go over 40 no matter how much gas you give it. Its causing me to get 5 miles to the gallon. Please help us out!
