RE: engine idle to high
Once codes are cleared and car does it thing if you check codes does E52 show up?, your problem could also by poor grounds at both sides of core support and where ground cable attaches to block near starter. An intermitent TPS could be sending incorrect values depending on how hot or cold it is. I would look at grounds first. relearn tps and idle. If your getting E52 ecm is losing power and resetting - idle is learn is lost, and your idle concern can re-occur.

1995 deVille doesn't have a Mass Air Flow sensor. Also this thread is almost 9 years old. You should have started a new thread with your concerns. MAF on your Fleetwood ,which is an entirely a different car, is silver and black mounts in hose attached to air filter cover.

Oops!! Sorry. Was just reading through some posts trying to find an answer to my current question about the interior lights when I seen the post about high idling. We in fact had that issue with our 95 Deville, replaced the idling linkage which helped. But seems it is slowly trying to start doing it again.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Hi I have a 1995 Deville. It has a loud vibration that seems to happen when I turn the defrost or heat fan on. When you look under the hood you can see a hose that appears to be hitting a fan causing the vibration. After driving it about 30 mins there was a warning light, engine overheating, and shut off. Ive checked the radiator and its ok. I get other messages also change engine oil, service air ride and add Coolant. It sat for about 10 mi s and started right up but the vibration was worse.

It sounds bad. I would have cooling system tested for CO engine may have blown head gasket. Engine shutting off may indicate overheating has caused internal damage requiring another engine. The vibration maybe one of the fan motors you could disconnect one at a time and see if anything changes.
