I use to have to tap the housing to get the blower motor to start, and discovered the connector (three wires) lacked a rubber ribbed shroud.
So I replaced the connector with a new one that has a shroud, and it still doesn't blow until I tap on the connector just under the female receiver, and then it blows.
Once I do that, if I press in on the male outside portion, the fan blows faster. So it's not the new male connector. The catch?
I inspected the three prongs in the female end wiggled them a bit, even pushed a bit, and they are solid.
Is there something inside the housing that could be loose?
