A friend of mine has a '95 Deville. The owner is not present but I figure the car has over 100K miles.

Two issues:

1) When the lights are turned on - even when the car is running - the "ding ding ding" you've-left-your-lights-on chime never goes off. It is maddening driving the car in the dark or in the rain.

and 2) The fuel gauge and trip meter (mpg etc) do not work at all.

Anyone else had issues Like this? Is there a common fuse that controls these things? What could it be?

I have the same problem as jcp003(ding-ding when lights on and no trunk/fuel door opening with switch. I fouond a blown fuse. replaced it and it blew again. Can't track down problem. Please help !
