my car just keeps dieing all toghter. i got a new battary for it at least twice an took it to the shop twice they say not a thing is wronge an it works fine for them the only thing that might be wronge is the radio so i took out the fuse for it but it still died. can someone help me. maby this happened to you before an know the problem

 

Hey Cripcy: You don't give a guy much to go on..... When you say die do you mean after it sits for a while, when you are driving,, is it after the motor has been warmed up. Any details really make the diagnosis a lot easier. Which engine do you have??

 

If you mean the bat. keeps draining and you think it the radio. For one is it factory or aftermarket? Also you need to disconnect the fuse the constant power or memory wire, that fuse should be seperate than the radio fuse. Probley the same fuse as the cig lighter or something that doesn't turn off with the car.

 

i have a 4.9 engine, it dies after it sits for about a day or two after running it for a few. my radiop is a aftermarket came with the car when i bought it tho. An the last time i jumped it my gas in tank keeps flashing E for empty but i but about 8 gals of gas into it then the next day started it an its still flashing E! i really dont know what is up with my car

Hey Cripsy: Caddies are fun aren't they?? A few thing to start off with, get someone to get into your trunk so tha when you close it they can see if that lightis gouig off. Check to see if the engine compartment light is going off. Are the interior light package lights all going off when the doors are closed . Possible ground short as well somewhere. Electrical gremlins can be a real bi$#@ to find. Maybe check your gas tank ground as yu said you were having tank gage issues.Good luck man.
