Default 2002deville check engine light help

Hi,

I just bought a 2002 deville and love it but the check engine light came on and i had autozone run the codes and this is what they got. PO420 Definition Catalyst efficiency low bank 1. Explanation: the oxygen sensors monitor the catalytic converters ability to store oxygen. Problen causes 1. Catalytic converter defective (failure possibly due to 2,3, or 4) 2. Engine misfire or running condition. 3. large vacuum leak. 4. Engine oil leakage into exhaust-valve guide seals, piston rings. I was wondering what you think i should do next. I have noticed no odd engine noises and it preforms great. Another code they got was PO741 and P1860 both related to the TCC Solenoid and TCC PWM Solenoid, I dont know if these are the same thing or not. How hard it it to replace this solenoid? The back windows will not work and i think they are off track, Is it hard on a deville to put them back on track? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks,

Colby

Thanks for the help. What about replacing the tcc solinoid? And where would I find out how to change the oxygen censor? Autozone said they no longer clear codes so I am thinking about buying a scanner. What is a good on that isent to pricey?

Thanks,

Colby
