Hi everyone, I am trying to install new rear GM Genuine air struts in my 93 Sedan Deville. The shocks look the same as the originals but when I mount the top of the strut in the mounting holes in the fender well, the strut holes to mount the strut to the knuckle do not align correctly. I circled the areas in the attached picture
As shown, there is a large nut in the center of top of the strut between the top mounting studs. Does anyone know if the top mounting brace can be rotated if I loosen the large nut?
