03 DTS A/C won't blow air thru cabin vents!!!

My 03 DTS has stopped blowing air thru the vents on the instrument panel and by the glovebox. when i start it, it can hear a weird clicking sound like gears slipping or something. it's hot as hell in san diego right now....

Mode actuator failed likely cause.

what am i looking at in the way of repair costs and labor if this is the problem?
