02 deville door locks not working
I just purchased the car. 85k on the ticker. Dome lights, trunk, fuel door, door locks dont work. pulled all fuses. Nothing looks blown. I am looking for a bad ground, but find it hard to believe these arent all associated somehow. Windows and mirrors work fine. Dont believe its the control module. Any ideas? Thanks (update: I am throwing cam and crank sensor codes. plus the service antitheft is on the digital readout. Could these all be related?)

u could be having a problem with ddm driver door module
or the rim rear module
we need to know does it lock but does not unlock
dom lights do they work from switch
does the trunk open with remote
can u pull the codes and let us know

Thanks for responding. Nothing new. I read the codes. Just the crank and cam sensor codes. New antitheft service words on gauge cluster. I reset the codes they popped up again. No check engine lights. Car is running nice and smooth. The car came with a broken door lock keychain. So I can't tell if that works. No operation of door locks, trunk release, fuel release other than manually. The dome lights don't work at all even manually. I was looking all over the internet for the ground locations so I can verify they are connected. The only thing I can see that might be suspect is a dvd player was removed from the ceiling previous to my purchasing it. I will be removing headliner to have it redone so I will inspect things then. I had a mint 91 deville before this one.

Ok, I did this. Got alot of codes. They are as follows.
1. DDM B3832 current
2. DDM V1000 current
3. IPC V1000 current
4. IPM B0429 current
5. IPM V1000 current
6. PCM V1066 current
7. PDM B3832 current
8. PDM V1000 current
That is all. But thats enough! I am at a loss. I am going now to buy a manuel for the vehicle. As I stated before I still have all the original problems. Just changed the battery and also after I checked the codes initially, I cleared them. Then rechecked codes after running car a few mins. All same codes nothing different. I am going to borrow a scan tool, but intitial scantool reading only picked up crank and cam sensor codes. None of these. Also located and disconnected RIM module, ran car with no change in anything. Then reconnected RIM, touched disconnected battery cables together, and still no change. (GMTECHS = no power lock action at all. I do remember my 91' locked and unlocked when in and out of gear. Thanks for the remind. But no nothing.)

Ok, did the reset window thing. Up and hold - down and hold, all windows. Now they go up and down normally. They go down with just a click but up I have to hold button. Anyways, while I was doing that I would hear a high pitched squeal barely audible from the dash. I shut the door and listened. It stopped after 20 seconds. Is this the dome light solenoid activating and timing out? If so, that works. But still no lights. Cannot find source for code lookup. Only "p-zero" codes. Book is no help. Where can I find a source for these codes please? The things happening are not detrimental but are annoying with the loss of creature comforts. Can still lock manually.

b3832 Window Position Sensor Circuit
b1000 ECU Malfunction
i believe that is u1000 Class 2 Communication Malfunction
b0429 Temperature Control #3 Rear Circuit Range/Performance
u1066 Lost Communications With XXX (module it will say)

Ok, this is greek to me. Thanks for the info. Now what do I do with it haha. Is there somehow I can tell which module is not working to cause this? It wasnt really clear. Just gave me codes. The ceiling mounted DVD player was connected throught the battery and not into the stereo. So I assume there was nothing messed with.

ok the problem start like this
do u you have a general knowledge about cars if so you can fix it
if not i would recommend you take it to someone who can
basically u need to track down each code and fix the problem
now the trick is some of the problems can be caused by a bad wire or common module
so since u fixed the window i would clear the codes again
and see what codes come back
do u have a multimeter or test light u will need either one better to have a meter.
lets start with door locks
door locks are controlled throught the driver door module (ddm)
but we also have to make sure u have power to that circuit and relay works
this depends on the option u have for locks 2 different styles
this is the driver door switch wires
