Sir, I just bought a 2007 Cadillac CTS on Saturday with 95,000 miles on it. Two days later, I had gotten a check engine light, so I went to get an OBD check.

I had received these codes: U1016, P0017, P008, C0047, C0052, C0781, and C0561. I also bought a Wynn's Deluxe Warranty when I bought this vehicle.

But, based on the codes, how much could I be looking at in repairs? Could I still be screwed even with this warranty and all? Your help and expertise in this matter would greatly be appreciated.

 

I would check with consumer protection in your state. Warranties other than OEM normally won't cover concerns in the first 30 days/ 1000 miles. It is expected dealer reconditions cars prior to sale. Problems so soon after purchase are suspect many times. C codes not related to SES light
