Hey everyone I just registered-just got a 2005 CTS 3.6L V6 with Luxury/sport packages-and 8000 miles. Was past down to me from a mother who drove it like once a week and never went over 35! So anyway I keep reading various numbers for 0-60 times-the lowest I have read was 6.4 and most sites say "under 7 seconds'

So what have you guys found? On my first day driving and rough estimating it seems it is pulling just a hair above 6s-maybe 6.1 or 6.2-what have you guys found or what is do***ented?

Also does having sport mode on better your 0-60 times?

 

Not sure about 0-60 I know that it is in the low 6 range though, I saw it in chevy specs awhile back when i first got my CTS but I raced 1/8th mile with mine stock and ran a 9.6 then I threw on a Volant intake and had it at a 9.2.. I think i was around 75-79 mph can't remember
