I need to find someone who knows this caliper. I'm upgrading to discs on another car, using the Eldorado calipers. I'm a bit stumped as to how the pads go in,

It looks like the smaller pad goes like this -



But the bigger pad has this clip on the back -



and does not fit in the caliper -



So how is that supposed to work?

What is it for, and should it face the front or rear of the car?

Another thing I'm curious about is this clip on the piston. It just doesn't look right, with the ends folding over into the notches in the piston surface. Maybe it's supposed to be that way, but I thought it was worth asking about.

The caliper pin in the instructions looks different than what I have, and I'm not sure how much of the o-rings and stuff I need. The instructions only show the plain chrome cylinders being used.
