Default Is my caliper OK to use?

I replaced brake pads on my 2008 STS today and the rear left caliper has a tear in the piston rubber boot. Can I continue to use it? The piston wasn't hard to move to make room for the new pads

The dust seal should be replaced. It would come with caliper seal kit. Foreign material could cause caliper failure - piston binding.
