Smile Pushing Piston into Caliper ???

I attempted to change my rear break pads on Sunday. I could not get the cylinder back into the caliper. I have a tool to crank it in, and it moved in quickly at first, then stopped. No matter how much I turned it, it would not go in any further. And it need to go in at least 1/8 inch more to get the caliper over the new pads.

What is the trick. Do I need to purchase another tool. Let me know and I will run out and get one.

Wexford Mike 2006 DTS, 42,000 miles, Wexford is is a suburb of Pittsburgh PA.

PS. I love my DTS.
