1992 cadillac deville tranny slipping

E40 relates to P/S switch, should not cause you problem. I suggest to check vacuum to modulator, with hose off throttle body when engine running port should whistle, many times T/Body ports can carbon up causing a delayed or weak signal to modulator causing slipping. Also take exhaust loose from y pipe to check for restricted cat.conv. on drive car. MAKE SURE IT WONT FALL DOWN AND HIT ROADWAY. Post what you find.

k here is what the mechanic said. I have dirty fuel injectors.
I'm going to try a fuel injector additive in the gas tank and take it from their.
I still get E40...EE40 I have replaced the PSP switch. I'll have to look for other stuff on the power steering.
Until then....I'll keep posting my findings.
