The day I drove it home I stopped to get gas and before I can it ran out and died on me. I put gas in the tank about 7 gallons and now the car wont start. Its cranks but never kicks over. Take it back to the dealer you bought it from. ask for money back. or help with it clean spark plugs or put new ones in. Have someon turn it over and see if you get spark to plug remove plug put a wire on it groun it to engine and look for spark as it is turned over by someone wear gloves rubber. If it sparks see if you get gas are plugs wet check filter on gas line check gas pump see if gas is getting to carb.

Not much to go on...more info would be helpful. I suggest check fuel pressure regulator it's a small round steel thing that is on the line that holds injectors,it has a vacuum hose attached to it.Disconnect it check for gas coming out when key is turned on.If gas leaks out you need one and it will make car hard to start and use way too much gas.Hope it helps

I would agree that fuel is not getting to the injectors. Running out of gas is bad all round. On old carburetor cars we would often have to pour gas down the carb to prime it after running out of gas. I think I like slowroll's idea, relive pressure and check, could be air in line from running out. You should also loosen off gas cap to help relive pressure.

one other thing .. is the fuel pump running? with everything off, just run the key to the ON position, you should be able to hear the pump behind you. if all is silent, i say that be bad news.

running out of gas on modern cars is not a nice thing for the fuel pump or the car.

To clarified situation described in my original post.If fuel comes out where vacuum hose it supposed to be connected, engine intake manifold will receive a stream of fuel thru hose equal to fuel pumps maximum pressure. If engine is running it will run over rich and eat gas.The over rich condition will make it hard to start. If you just need to have a realy bad day when starting engine it will backfire and intake manifold( metal or compsite) will never look the same.Hope it helps.
