Hey everybody,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but my dad's buying me a 2008 Cadillac STS V8 once I get my license (I'm on my permit stage at the moment). Yeah yeah, I'm 16 so I know I shouldn't be driving a Cadillac, but what the heck, I want to.

I saw a topic on engine life in the Engine Specific category, but I want to clarify once again for this particular model.

So..
1. Is the 2008 STS v8 model worth buying, or is a Mercedes or Infiniti better?
2. What is the difference between STS and CTS?
3. Most importantly, how long will the car's engine last?
