A few months ago I bought a timing chain for a Cadillac Deville 1959. Now I try to replace it and after removing the old one, it turns out that the new one is a bit different. The old chain has sharp ends and the new chain has blunt ends. The result is that the new one does not quite
fit on the old gear crank, there is just a space between the chain and the gear crank. Is it supposed to be like that or is there something wrong?
