Default Timing Chain/Belt

What mileage should you change (or consider changing) the timing chain on a 02 Cadillac Escalade?

Unless you are experiencing warning signs of it slipping or failing and it's diagnosed by a mechanic as a failing timing chain, I would only have it replaced if the engine is requiring a rebuild. It's not like other engines which the belt or chain commonly fails. Save your money for other repairs in my opinion.
