Would like to know what this 10mm bolt connects to. Could it leak oil? It is below CKP and behind starter. Sits in an indentation (hole) in block. I don't want to pull it out not knowing what it is. Changing CKP to hopefully get rid of oil leak above starter. 2007 Escalade Base AWD 6.2 Thank you in advance.

That is a cross bolt for the main crank bearing cap . Nothing will fall off but it should have a sealer and be torqued back to specs
