bought a 03 deville,all interior was missing..was wondering if anyone knows about programming the replacement stereo i purchased on ebay???i was told if i matched up the wiring it still wont function because it has to be programmed at the dealer...wanted to see if there was any other way go about it???all advice is greatly appreciated,thanks!

 

there really isnt a way to get around having the dealership to have radio programed. the information is actually stored on a computer located behind the rear seat wich is linked to rest of the car. Unless you install an after market system which would cost about $150 for the wire harness and mounting hardware plus what ever you spend on the radio wich in the end would cost about the same to have the factory radio reprogramed.
