We owned a 2015 GMC Acadia for 8.5 years. I put about 1000 mp3s on a USB drive for the car and noticed that when the songs were being played a small picture of album art was displayed on the info screen. I always thought that was kind of neat so I upgraded all the mp3s to have album art.

A week ago we traded our 2015 Acadia for a 2024 Caddy XT6. To my surprise there's no album art displayed on the info screen using that same USB drive. Title, artist, album, time and playlist name are shown but no album art. I do own an iPhone12 but have never synced all our music on it but I do have a couple songs in iCloud which do display the album art when in Apple Play mode. It just seems strange this feature doesn't work with USB music.

If there's a way to get this to work please let me know.
