RE: SPEED TRAP Exchange
Good for California. The only thing that is the consensus of opinion of most everyone I know is that speedtraps create a poor reputation and respect for the police. The only defense to this is the large number of "DUI's" discovered in these stops. Sort of makes you wonder why they just don't close bars at something like 10 PM.

or have a gated "check out" before you can exist the bar's parking lot.
we used to have a 25mph zone in a major street untill a lawsuit got the
city to rezone it to 40mph. it got so bad even the cops ignored the
speed limit and only used it on the end of month quota that doesnt exist.
