Default Solar Generator for your Cadillac

Ideal for camping or emergency power outages, the
Sun Power Port is a portable generator that when used
to its full potential will pay for itself in less than two

years.
In one day of full sunshine, the solar panel easily charges
the 12 volt (standard automobile) battery. An inverter
changes the DC current to AC. From there the electrical energy
is easily accessible to most standard 110 volt small
appliances used in North America. What are the advantages of

a solar generator? If you don't know, check out

sunpowerport.com. The featured generator will run most small

electrical appliances. It is great for camping or emergency

backup. No noise. No fumes. For more details see

The Sun Power Port:

On a full charge, without the sun, the battery has enough
power to run and charge a laptop computer for about three
hours, a 19" television for over an hour or a twenty watt
light for about ten hours. Next time the power goes out, read
in silence, listen to music, surf the Internet while the Sun Power
Port provides a clean energy source.

Configurations:

Solar panel:28W full tempered glass plate
Maintenance-free lead-acid battery:12V12AH
Charge-discharge controller 5A with the protection of over-
charge, over-discharge, short circuit and overload
Charge for about 8 hours to provide 12V*1A added power
to fully charge the power boxes

Technical parameters:

DC output:12V、6V、4.5V
AC output:110v/50Hz - can support any electrical device in this range
(fans, lights, cell phones, digital products, etc.)
Over discharge protection:10.8V; resumption output:12.5V
Over charged protection:14.5V
Temperature use range:-4 degrees F - 140 degrees F (-20℃--60℃)
Humidity use range:10%--80%

Maintenance:

Battery needs to be fully charged and discharged at least once per year

MSRP: $695.00

that is pricey!

my $300 Toshiba nb205 operates over 9 hrs on its battery which i often keep trickle charged with a solar panel that i got at the auto parts store for $70.

the Toshiba USB ports power:
the led light,
a little fan,
the computer and internet,
the "magicjack" for landphone,
skype video phone,
the cell phone charger,
bluetooth devices,
run the free movies and TV shows in HULU,
play music,
play the USB external DVD player,
operates the telescope.

i'm still expanding the toshiba ...
a 3G network MiFi is probably next in the agenda, waiting on the phone company wars to bleed the prices down.
