Default Grand slam

Heading for the keys Friday for Tarpon/bone/permit. Hope to catch one of each, however that is very difficult.

Sat be fishing for snook and redfish, both in season.

Y'all have a good weekend hopefully I will have a good story when I get back.

Whilst out on the boat there will be a moment of silence for Slim.

hope you have a great time, and hpoefully the weather will be good as well.please let us know how it went, and do take a camera, the lake I live on here is still frozen. Will be fishing season here soon. I'm one of the worst fishermen here, but have a good time while out there, which is the most important thing about fishing as far as I am concerned. If I catch something it is just an added bonus.

Man, that adds new meaning to the term Grand Slam. I sure hope his rod was up to the task.

I would like to nominate that as the best picture posted on this site to date, may be hard to beat all time. Anyone seconding my nomination?

Katz,

we have to wait until Gary recovers from the fishing trip
for the full report. maybe he's got a couple more "nice" ones
to add to the nomination.

tomorrow?

Iwill refuse to post a photo of the 7.5lb 39 inch snook that I proudly landed. Tagged and released btw. It could not possibly compete with the two whoppers posted above. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, I REALLY DID GO FISHING.

On land fishing report.
All is well for the moment at Holiday Isle in the deys. The most beautiful women in the world wearing as little as possible. Sad note is that this institution will be demolished within the next 2 years to make way for condos, which btw will start at 1.3 million. If you ever find yourself in the keys make it a point to stop and look around for a while, no matter the day or time of day, you will not be disappointed, however the weekends offer more variety.
