Grand slam
Heading for the keys Friday for Tarpon/bone/permit. Hope to catch one of each, however that is very difficult.
Sat be fishing for snook and redfish, both in season. Y'all have a good weekend hopefully I will have a good story when I get back. Whilst out on the boat there will be a moment of silence for Slim. |

hope you have a great time, and hpoefully the weather will be good as well.please let us know how it went, and do take a camera,the lake I live on here is still frozen. Will be fishing season here soon. I'm one of the worst fishermen here, but have a good time while out there, which is the most important thing about fishing as far as I am concerned.If I catch something it is just an added bonus.

Man, that adds new meaning to the term Grand Slam. I sure hope his rod was up to the task.

Iwill refuse to post a photo of the 7.5lb 39 inch snook that I proudly landed. Tagged and released btw. It could not possibly compete with the two whoppers posted above. Sad note is that this institution will be demolished within the next 2 years to make way for condos, which btw will start at 1.3 million. If you ever find yourself in the keys make it a point to stop and look around for a while, no matter the day or time of day, you will not be disappointed, however the weekends offer more variety. |
