I'm not sure if I put this message up on the correct forum, However I just recently purchased a 1962 Coupe Deville that occured as a barn find. The body work and engine seems to be relatively sound but however the seats require to be reupholstered or replaced and the odd bit of minor rust. Is there any particular aspects of the car that require attention before restoration due to being highly prone to wear? Can any members advise me

P.S. I live in Ireland and know that components will be more difficult to get but however I am willing to go to the UK in order to get parts.

Sorry about sounding inexperienced, I had little knowledge of restoring a cadillac prior to this. If I run into any more difficulty I will update the forum and track progress
