about a week ago i noticed my wipers did not work so i tried moving them and they still moved and when i turned on the car after that they pulled back down under the hood right away, and kept pulling down with much force, i could feel the wiper pulling really hard, so i know the motor is stuck in the down direction, how do i fix?

 

You need to check wiper transmission which is under panels at base of windshield. Wiper arms have to come off. Sounds like somethings bent. Which is not uncommon in the areas of snow and ice.

 

ok, i fixed it, nothing was bent, plus the arms in there are so thick i don't think they could be bent, but the wipers where tightened out of alignment, so i loosened them and turned them on to let the motor come back to resting position, then i retightened the bolts.
