MY DRIVERS WINDOW WILL NOT GO UP UNLESS THE BUTTON IS PUSHED RAPIDLY OR PUSHED IN FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME

 

what kind of car do you have? Try to pry of the window button with a little screw driver or the tip of one of your keys. then try to use a tooth pick and poke at one end of the switch. there should be one little clip to make the window go up and one at the bottom of the swith to make it go down. You probably just need a new window switch if anything since your window does go up and down.I had this problem with my 98 deville and just replaced it with a new window switch from the junkyard. if its the main switch that controls all windos on the driver door those tend to be a little bit pricey depending on your make of vehicle. good luck
