Default Driver's Side Power Window button

I have a 96 STS with a power window problem. Checking to see if anyone has had a similar problem before I tear door apart to get at control. I went to partially lower the driver's window and the button seemed somewhat stuck. Pushed a little harder and window went down. Trouble is, now the window won't go back up. Any help would be much appreciated.

Default RE: Driver's Side Power Window button

Just saw this post. Switches can be a little tempermental when they get old. On a drivers window the tendency is to push the switch to the left and down and this can over time bend the contacts that way so they don't connect anymore. Try pushing the right front corner of the switch down, the contact may work. If it does and you can live with it Ok otherwise you'll need a new switch.
