Will a OBD II '95-99 N* swap into a '94 Eldo? what is involved? how can I identify (besides VIN# on dash) wheather a N* is a L37 ETC or STS engine, or the 275 horse engine? Thankyou slowroll for all the info. Randall

 

Without pulling valve cover I don't know you would know which is which, if they were sitting side by side out of the car. Intake camshafts are different, when measured the 300 horse intake cam has more lift the exhaust. 275 horse (Y) engines are more common. To swap. You will need to transfer water pump housing/cross over along with intake and related gaskets/spacers.
