Weezer - replace alternator on a 2002 GM Cadillac Eldorado
Hello All, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has replaced an alternator on a 2002 Eldorado? If so how is that done?

Alternator comes out from the bottom.
1) Disconnect negitive battery cable from battery and engine.
2) Remove belt from pulleys. Position out of the way.
3) Remove top alternator mounting bolt.
4) Raise front of car
5) Remove right inner splash shield, front lower deflector, and alternator access plate.
6) Disconnect alternator wiring.
7) Remove 2 bolts to back side of alternator. Top one is terrible due to exhaust.
8) Remove lower bolt near a/c compressor. You will need to wiggle it out.
