I guess I'll add it to the list of wrench AIDS that help NOT break a stud!

WD-40 - great preventative of rust, also great for fishing (spray the bait)

Liquid Wrench - minimal surface tension, wicks itself everywhere, inexpensive

TRC Super-eez - Considered by many to be the real & best of the penetrating oils, expensive

PB Blaster - seems to work best with heavily rusted bolts and nuts, specially large sizes.

Castle Thrust Penetrating Oil - "Ion Activated" formula won’t burn off; has super affinity for metal to give it a powerful penetrating action. Foams on so it won’t run off. Great stuff in engine dismantling where one can spray everything down prior to the wrenching.

mini torch - when all above fails, light my fire !

cutting torch - when all above fail, burn it off !

p b blaster GREAT STUFF when all else fails use it....
also used it in my snow thrower.
