I drive a 93 Eldorado and there seems to be oil leaking but i can't tell where it is coming from. A mechanic told me that it could possibly be the valve cover gaskets leaking. Has anyone else ever had an oil leak problem?, or know if the vale cover gaskets tend to leak sometimes.

 

LOL..... oil leak in a gm engine.............. no, never happen.......lol....

sure they will leak ..... gaskets get old and dont gasket after a while. if you can replace them, go ahead and do so. or give each bolt a slight tug (very slight) clockwise. that may tighten them up enough to stop the leak. they will need replaced in time. lets hope that is where the leak is..... welcome to the forum!
