I have a 99 Cadillac Deville and when i put it into drive and step on the gas the car doesnt go anywhere and the engine just revs up. Does this mean that my transmission is totally shot, or do you think this can be fixed? Thanks-

 

It may mean it's low on fluid. Check fluid level and condition, and for pcm codes.
