'05 STS transmission problem
'05 STS at 21,000 mi started "harsh shifting"
5L40-E five speed transmission
smooth as silk previously -
dealer has made "software change" -
continue same symptoms -
Need help in correcting

If the dealer serviced it they must have checked the fluid level, but to be sure have a look.
