Default Temp and light sensors

The temp and light sensors on my 2001 Seville (drivers side) have been pushed down into the dash. I was wondering how they are held in place and how to get them back in their correct position. I have tried lifting the back of the trim around the defrost opening to get at them, but I can't get enough space to get a finger on the sensors to see if they will just push back in place.

Sensors twist 1/4 turn to lock in. You may have to remove upper dash panel to put them back in place.

Thanks for the reply. How is the upper dash panel removed?

Remove windshield pillar trim moldings. Remove 4 a/c vents , close off outlets so screws don't fall into dash. 4 screws, 1 in each outlet,. Lift front edge of dash and push toward windshield to release it then you should be able to remove it.You can also go by dealer and get copy of Do***ent ID# 857542
