TCC Solenoid THM 200-4R
OK, I have a transmissionproblem with my 84 DeVille. The Transmission shifts HARD from 2nd to 1st and also shifts late. Also, at cruising speeds when I press full throttle to downshift from OD it also shifts hard. Just to clear the air YES I changed the fluid and filter and the reults were the same. And YES when I changed it there was no copper/metal in the pan. NO the trans fluid was not burnt. In other words it looked GREAT. The TCC or Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid would seem like the culprit IF everything else is fine. I would like your input regarding this problem as well as your experiences with the Metric 200-4R RWD Transmission. I am a regular at Caddyinfo.com and as of yet I have not got a solid answer so I'm counting on you caddy guys over here.
