PROBLEM GETTING 09 DTS out of park

Default PROBLEM GETTING 09 DTS out of park
Currently my 09 DTS Y is not shifting out of park I can move the gear shift back in forth but it will not move from out of park

Check the shift cable at both ends and make sure it is connected. Also check the fluid level.
