Question Power Steering Fluid

I want to change the p/s fluid for the CTS we just bought.
Is there a commercial substitute for the GM specified p/s fluid?
I hate to go to GM since the fluid probably sells for more than the price of gold!

I want to do a parial change - suck out the reservoir, refill, run and repaet several times.
I want to get the most longevity and believe that p/s fluid deteriorates over time like everything else.
Its for a 2006 CTS 2.8, 35K miles.
