PCM PO507 code 2001 DTS
I haven't been able to find the real reason behind my idle problem. I just changed the camshaft sensor, cleaned throttle body and put in 44k additive. the car starts and drives good for about 20 minutes. but after a while the idle starts to jump to 1500-2000 rpm without me pressing on gas. Then when i put the car on park, the idle jumps to 25k rpm and the engine starts to heat up. when its rought to change the gear from park to drive. sometimes its too hard to stop the car because the idle keeps on raising. i got this code from the computer: PCM PO507. it says its for high idle but i don't know where to check. if i take it to the dealership, they'll rape me on the prices.
Anyone know where the leak or the problem could be at? any help would be appreciated.
