Default 93 Cad pwr steering problem

93 60 Special develops air on one end of rack cylinder. Also oil in reservoir brown an smells overheated.
This fault causes instability in braking similar to warped rotors. Also no "hiss" when idleing and steering against stops. Pump worn out? Other. Help.

Power steering fluid being brown - it needs changed. The steering gear filling with air - need more info and how it effects brakes may require a little more.

Slow roll --- Thanks for reply. Air in cylinder only ac***ulates in one end - corresonding to full left turn. It isn't affecting the brakes but it creates a soft steering when braking. It feels somewhat like the uneven braking caused by a warped rotor. To correct it I turn the wheel to the left stop with the car rolling slowly. I wondered if the air might be coming from a worn pump rotor.
