Default No Start condition

Today I pulled in the garage and placed my 2003 CTS auto-Trans into park a little too quickly which caused it make a pop noise and rock a bit. When I went to restart it 30mins later, it would turn over but not start up. I placed it neutral, push the car forward a few inches, reselected park, and then she started. I thought no big deal and went to my next meeting. Left meeting, got into car and same condition surfaced as the garage. Except this time pushing the car in neutral did not work.

So there she sits out in an empty parking lot. WHAT HAVE I DONE????

What would cause a no start condition while still allowing it to turn over??

Thanks John
