Moonroof Rattle and Buring Smell
Hello All,
I really need some help and/or advice with these 2 on-going issues with my 2006 DTS Cadillac Performance Model.
1.Moon roof rattles: I’ve had this issue addressed with the dealer 3 times already with no avail. They keep adjusting it - it still keeps making noises. The rattle is coming from the passenger side. What do you think the issue is and how can I get this fixed???
2.Strange smell: I’ve also had this issue addressed with the dealer 3 times with no avail. When my defrost is on I smell some thing burning. It kind of smells like plastic. This doesn’t happen all the time. It happens when I’m idling and driving. I usually roll down the windows and roll them back up and the smell is gone – weird. The dealer has look everywhere for some type of leak/ tried to replicate this problem, but can find anything wrong.
Otherwise I love my Caddy. It is a 2006 model with 27K miles with the GM extended warranty 100K
