Hello, my 1999 Seville sts is having some problems with the moonroof, and tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Sometimes the t/t just doesn't work. When this happens, one of the lights for the moonroof blinks red. Also, most of the time the moonroof will not open. I've checked the fuses, and they all look good. This has been going on for about 6 months now. Any ideas would be great.

It sounds like a poor electrical connection. Get a factory service manual from the library and read the power sunroof description and operation section, then go thru the power sunroof does not open test procedure.

 

As with most any electrical problem with Cadillac ...Codes?, Is sunroof factory or added? how to tell headliner will be molded for it, A/M units (not uncommon) will have different style buttons, and sometimes stickers to indicate "mod". Dealer could tell you if you give them last 8 characters of VIN - XU******.
