I just picked up a 02 DTS. (Cadillac Certified) This is my first DTS
but my 3rd Caddy. I had the Bose radio with RDS in the 98 STS and I
liked it. I have tried to get the RDS to turn on or off on my 02. But
when I tap RDS button radio starts to scan. I can't even choose the
PTY I want. I know this is one of those foolish question people ask,
but I am stumped. I have read the manual and even the quick reference
book that came with car, still nothing. Any suggestions? Or should I
just say screw it?

 

I think you first press a the button on the far right, then the button on the far left. The lights (if its dark) on the buttons turn orange and you are now in RDS mode.
