low speed stalling

RE: low speed stalling
Hey 427: Have heard of this problem being caused by faulty crankshaft sensors. There may also be things like clogged fuel filter also, how is the overall performance other than your stalling problem???? Caddies are fun aren't they??

RE: low speed stalling
thanks for the repleys guys. i am a son of a mechanic so i know more than most. ill check the crank sensors for physical damage but its not thowing a code. the fuel filter has about 7000 miles on it, but this has been occuring be for it was changed. the throttle body is also spotless. the over all performace is normal. i guess ill have to just send it to caddy! some one said the idol was set to low from the factory, but ive never seen any proof/recalls.
another question. i now have 76000 on it and im getting a humming from the ft end. its not the pumpkin, and it sounds like a bearing.. any hints onto which one i should look at first. or should i replace them all. correct me if im wrong. theres wheel bearings and inner and outer axel bearings. you guys know the sound of a bearing going bad, rrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, something like that. only when you accellerate. coasting has no noise.
thanks in advance.
